AMERICAN HERO Bobby is an Iraqi Veteran of war, (James A. Lee) who returns home, temporarily staying at his sister Jane’s apartment in NYC while he finds a job. Today was his first day at his new job, but when Jane, (Begonya Plaza) comes home and sees that her brother is home getting drunk, sparks begin to fly, and Bobby’s inner demons lash out in response. Bobby’s devoted, yet naïve sister breaks down in the struggle to comprehend the agonizing truth, that although her brother seems apparently intact, he is psychologically and emotionally traumatized.
