Zelda Kaplan passed away on February 15, 2012. Rest in Peace, Zelda! For many years, before dating Bobby, Zelda was my buddy, toward the end we didn't see each other as much, but we'd have long conversations on the phone, dinners one on one, or lunches at her next door diner, Moonstruck. She was a friend, and she was always interesting, fascinating, wise, funny, thoughtful, and young. I have many more videos like this one, some that go back to 2003 when we'd have tea at the Plaza Hotel. She amazes me at how young she was, integral, and forward thinking. I guess because she was open minded, generous of spirit, and curious, Zelda will forever live with me.
In this little video, Zelda, Jeffrey Gurian, my daughter, Caterina, and myself take a ride to see the Dali exhibit in Philadelphia, February of 2005. As always we have a candid, insightful and fun conversation.
Enjoy a moment with Zelda.
